Rain Tower
Project
Type of Practice: Rain Barrel
Date Mapped: Tuesday, August 9, 2011
Description: I build rain barrel water towers that have an attractive planned look for additions to your favorite collection spot. The base is reclaimed 4x4 fence post with a cedar barrel wrap around a standard 55 gallon plastic rain barrel. A custom divert valve allows flow to by-pass the barrel in the winter and a full size overflow into a grade drain to daylight prevents water problems at the tower
Water Managed by Practice: 6,177 Gals/Yr
